Hope Series 4

Verse for Today about Hope:

For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my

trust from my youth. Psalm 71:5

Prayer of An Aged Person from Psalm 71:

O Lord God, as I pray, I am an older person who

faces troubles and I need your help to rescue me

from mine enemies and afflictions. I have walked

in your ways since I have accepted your Son, Jesus

Christ as my personal Savior from my youth. I have

kept my faith and my confidence in you. I am

determined to live the rest of my life that you, God

will manifest in your power and your goodness in my

life. When my strength is failing, thou art my hope, my

protector, my helper, and my supporter for the rest of

my days. I ask you to bless all my older friends who

are close to you in Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

Chorus for Today: Surely Goodness and Mercy

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,

       All the days, all the days of my life;

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,

      All the days, all the days of my life.

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever,

      And I shall feast at the table spread for me;

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,

     All the days, all the days of my life.

Lyrics: John Willard Peterson, Alfred Barney Smith,

Verse for Today:

"For thou in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou

will hear, O Lord my God." Psalm 38:15

Prayer for Today:  O Lord God,

Be not far from me, O Lord, and hear my

around me was failing. I rely on you because

you are my Lord, you are my God, and you

are my Father whom I could trust. Help my friends

to put their trust in you completely and rest in your

arm of love, knowing that all things work together

for good in Jesus' name, I pray, amen!

Chorus for Today: Keep On Believing

Keep on believing, God will answer prayer;

Keep on believing, never despair;

Tho' you be heavy laden and

     burdened down with care,

Remember God still loves you

     and He answers prayer.

My hope is in you all day long and I put my trust in you.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I put my hope in you

Song for Today: The Solid Rock

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ, the Solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
(Edward Mote, Sing His Praise)

May the Lord put a song in your heart today be lifted
up in Jesus' name. Amen!

As for news, the Prayer Guideline for Intercessor was in the
Fresh Manna instead of this blog. So I hope you enjoy them.
I will see if there's some idea to add to this blog.
