Good morning, friend! 

Prayer for Tony Callies.
He had surgery for hip replacement on April 15th, and he had difficult time to get started on walking because of his injured shoulder and arm that happened on April 13th along with a broken hip. With his right shoulder and arm splint, he was not successful in walking because it requires both hands to hold on walker and he is unable to do so.
 
Tony has moved from the hospital to Recovery Rehab Nursing Home on April 25th and please pray that the therapists will be successful to help Tony walk again.

I personally need prayer because I get real tired from so many trips to be with Tony. I need strength and healing and many thanks for your prayer support.

Passing of Ruth on 3/26/16
Ruth Eckstein, 80, of Urbana, formerly of Normal, died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday (March 26, 2016) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. On Thursday, March 31, 2016 the funeral service were held at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman, Bloomington, Ill. Ruth's burial were held at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso beside her husband Billy Eckstein. Survivors: her daughters, Kay (Jack) Butcher, Urbana, and Melinda (Tim) Thomas, Heyworth; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores Heiken, Rockford, Illinois.

Passing of Bill Eckstein on 6/11/15

Bill Eckstein passed away peacefully on Thursday morning of June 11, 2015. The funeral was held at El Paso, Illinois on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 12 to 4 pm with wake, service, funeral and pot luck. Bill was well remembered by many, especially he was in drama with his family in the Parable of Sower, first with Super 8 film in 1972 and later converted into DVD in 2005. May the Lord comforts the families of Ruth Eckstein with the loss of their loved one, Bill Eckstein. Dorothy

Passing of Pauline Braddy on 8/31/15
Pauline Braddy passed away on Monday evening of August 31, 2015. The funeral was held at East Lawn Funeral Home at Bloomington, Illinois on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10 am. May she rest in peace.

April 2015: Beatrice Fitzpatrick of Indiana Pray for Ronald, my brother, who attend to dialysis three times a week every 4 hours, suffer with cramps with calves and arms fingers after dialysis. Pray for Ronald since he has so many needs. I prayed for him to know Jesus as his personal friend and Savior.

April 29, 2015: Dorothy Callies of Illinois: I know you have been praying for me since March 11 when my healthcare Insurance denied the coverage for fistula surgery. There were several phone calls between my doctor and the insurance and me. My appeals went through and a week later until April 24, the Insurance called to say that they accept the coverage and to go ahead with the surgery. So I met the Doctor today and he explained the procedure of “plug” and it should be helpful so I am scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning on May 12^th.

So my prayer is believing for a miracle that everything would be resolved so thank you for praying for me that the health insurance would approved. 

Dorothy's Devotion:

You know what was interesting? The whole month’s theme was about “Nothing!” Manna after manna I saw God’s Word with varies theme on “nothing” and one of them was “nothing was impossible with God.” So I kept believing for a miracle and it came even when it took longer than normal. The doctor said that perhaps my insurance thought I might give up, but I kept calling them time after time. Until I asked them if they had the right phone number of my doctor and mine. That was when it came the breakthrough of contacts. A week later, the insurance approved!

So now I am praying the blood of Jesus over everything to make sure Satan has no room for interference.

I am asking for you and your prayer group to pray for me. I am experiencing Silent Reflux - LPR and want to get the pepsin (digestive enzyme) to let go and dissolve in my throat area, removing the feeling of lump in the throat and to swallow normally with food and drink. And to eat anything with no restrictions. Also, I have a surgery scheduled May 1st for a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I want God's highest will to take place on that day, making it all about Him. I want full recovery after a clean and quick surgery as a testimony of God's powerful work in my life. Your prayers and support are appreciated!

PS. Need to add a bit more with the LPR... I want the pepsin to stay in the stomach with the acid where it should be and the LES (lower esophageal sphincter) to work perfectly. It closes when food is in the stomach with acid and pepsin. I have been told in the past that my LES was weak. I am believing for a healing miracle. Thank you again. Blessings.

Oh, Dear heavenly Father, we turned to you and asking you for wisdom of prayer for Shelley Guinn’s special need right now. We present Shelley before you at the very throne of God because Hebrews 4:16 encourage us to “come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

We claimed the healing that flows from the stripes that Jesus’ blood was shed that day 2,000 years ago! Together we believed and we received the anointing oil of Holy Spirit shed upon Shelley’s body and she received healing. We ask for your presence upon the surgeon’s hand that he may be guided by Your hand, O Lord of hosts. We believe that nothing is impossible with You, Lord.

We trust You, Lord because You really cares and because You really loves Shelley very much. O Lord, hear our prayers and incline thy ear unto us and grant Shelley the peace that she sorely needs from You. We want to thank You and praise You for the marvelous work You have done. 4/30/14 – June Ault – wants to thank you for your prayers. She does not feel any pains on her chest and seems like cancer is under control. Please pray for other problems, bladder, lump and diabetic.

4/30/14 – Dorothy Callies –Thank You Heavenly Father for the anointing of the Holy Spirit over all the prayer requests, and over all those names that received emails. Thank You Jesus for interceding for us. Bless them to share this with other friends. In Jesus’ name! Praise God what He will do for you!

4/29/14 – Pauline Braddy of Normal, IL at deaf church testified that she lay hands over all prayer requests every morning for you. She felt so blessed to do this.  [Dot: Awesome Pauline!]

4/29/14 – Diana Kinder - The bleeding is going on day 8 and has not stopped yet. Getting nothing but liver clot after liver clots. Hematology doctor put me on (2nd time) vitamin k tab last night. Have not been able to eat or drink. So worn down and so tired of this. Today I see dentist at 2 pm. Will see what he says. [Dot: Dear Lord, deliver Diana from all this. I bind you Satan, get your hands off of her and set Diana free to be healed in Jesus’ name, we all prayed, Amen!]

4/29/14 – Tony Callies – Some of you wonder about Tony’s health. His lower back pain seems to improve some. Tony’s health is pretty good as long as he takes medicine for blood clots. It is amazing to me how he is doing well. Please continue to pray for Tony. Dorothy

4/29/14 – Dianne Oppriecht – Continue to pray for her since she is still in the hospital with swollen infection due to her diabetic problem. She had heart failure and she is okay, but are kept at close watch. She had heart bypass surgery 5 or more years ago and was doing really well.

4/29/14 – Jane Loveland of Utah – Continue to pray for Jane since she is 85 and in need of more strength from the Lord. She also is a prayer warrior.

Matthew 18:19 NIV, “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

When I opened the emails, I lay my hand as touching over the prayer requests, I am agreeing with your prayer. Jesus promised that even if it is just two people praying, as touching anything, even over the emails, it shall be done. But think there are more of you than just two, Jesus promised to be there with you. Hallelujah to His Word. This is wonderful to hold that words of Jesus. Psalm 9:3, NIV, “My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before You.” Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for turning all our enemies of sickneses, problems, pains, strokes, etc that they stumble, perish, and vanish before You. I claimed Your Word that all the prayers has gone up to the Altar of Incense before Your Throne and that we find help in time of trouble. Jesus is standing there interceding for prayer requests that came before You, Father, Abba! Thank You for Jesus who is our High Priest interceded for us and be delivered in Jesus’ name we pray for the blood of Jesus covers all the requests, blessings, freedom and breathe in Your name. 4/26/14 – Paula Hardy - Pray for (her son) Dean Hardy's safe trip to Alberta and back home on Tuesday, 29th.

4/26/14 - Diana Kinder – I has been in and out of dentist and two times in E.R. for bleeding problems since having ten teeth pulled on Tuesday. I am on Lovenox & Warfarin. Please pray the bleeding will stop. There is nothing more the doctors can do. They say I have to wait for it to stop on its own. So tired of the taste of blood.

4/25/14 – Dorothy Callies – 12 pm - I just received a VP call from Janet that her roommate, Dianne Oppreicht, who loves to pray over the emails on prayer list, is in ER for swollen foot with a very bad infection since she is diabetic. She had heart failure which they put her on IV. They say that she is on critical list and has a very high risk. So let’s pray and trust God to handle this crisis situation. I’m not sure what God plan is for her. Be heal and live or what? It will take a miracle if she lives through it all. Just pray! Thank you!

4/25/14 – June Ault’s friend, Ann’s brother-in-law, Butch Reabold suddenly got a very bad stroke and want us to pray that God will heal him. He is a Christian.  Another prayer request for me is I have bladder problem. I need healing. Thank you for prayer. June.

4/22/14 – Tricia Borman from Minn - Hi Dorothy! This is Tricia from Minn here. PTL!  The Lord finally answer my prayer as my glaucoma pressure went down from 20 to 10.  Finally, the eye Dr is satisfied.  So now I don't have to go back until six to eight weeks ...  I have five different drops and one gel. It is crazy but it finally go down... smile PTL for answer. I have one another prayer request. Since April 12th my left knee has been in terrible pain. Last week wed. I went to my family Dr and I had x-rays done. Dr gave me pain medication  and refer me to see my past orthopedic -- he did my right shoulder surgery in 2009, also I saw him in 2010 for left knee issues at that time . The Ortho Dr looked at the new x-rays and compared them to 2010. He told me "u recently become 53 years old?” And I said yes.. He told me that my left knee is alike an 83 year old ... I have arthritis very bad. Tomorrow April 23, I will have MRI at 11 am in the morning on my left knee, then return to Ortho Dr on Friday May 2 at 8:45 am.  Pray for healing and that I won’t need a knee replacement.  As he feels strongly I will need this.  YIKES, I am trusting the Lord for this and thank u all for praying.. 4/22/14 – Brenda Harness had request prayer to keep her job’s teaching at the school, but now she request prayer chain for our support in prayer for her. She said, “Tonight the school board will vote on whether to keep or terminate me due to a “less than stellar” work evaluation after losing my mom and son. The superintendent, who has not observed me, will recommend ending my contract with the school year end. The school board will vote on this when they go into executive (closed door) session about 8 or 8:30 pm tonight. I am not on the agenda to have permission to speak for myself. Please pray for my job and peace of mind. Love, Brenda.

4/19/14 – Dorothy Callies – On Thursday, April 17^th, I become very sick early in the morning and I was not able to eat much and I stay in bed until 10:30 a.m. I watched TBN movie about Barabbas. I called June Ault on VP for prayer and she prayed. God spoke to her heart that I would be okay and I just need to take a nap. So I went back to bed and took a nap until 3 p.m. I was able to finish the Manna and send them out. I still need prayer for recovery and strength. Thank you for your marvelous prayers. God bless you real good.

4/19/14 - Diana Kinder - Praise Him for all the lovely ways you have served Him, thank you Dorothy. Prayer request: I will have 7 teeth extracted & 2 teeth surgically removed on Tuesday April 22nd. 4/19/14 – Alice Hodgson – Yes we need prayer list. Fred Hodgson was in the hospital last week. He has problem with tinnitus badly, his body shaking badly and he could not walk so I took him to ER. The Doctor checked him and could do nothing with bad tinnitus and gave him calm medicines and told him to go home and see his family Doctor. Now Fred is okay, but still have tinnitus for life and he is learning to accept it. Need your prayer to calm him down. Thank you.

4/19/14 – Linda Jochems – Please pray for me to overcome my personal problems and be delivered through Jesus’ name. Amen. Thank you for prayers.

4/19/14 – Tricia Borman, Minnesota - I had second laser surgery on my left eye for glaucoma and the pressure did not come down low enough after the first one. Pray that this time the pressure goes down more and pray that my vision doesn’t change. I go back to Eye DR on April 21^st. 2^nd prayer request – On Wed, April 16, I went to see the Doctor about my left knee which had been in pain since April 12^th. I am not sure what happened since it came on me suddenly. About five years ago I was told that I had almost no cartilage left as it was bone to bone and I would need knee replacement within a year. I began taking glucosamine over the counter pill that helps joints and my pain had been gone for over five years until last April 12^th. Pray for Doctor’s wisdom what to do about my knee problem, whether or not to refer me to orthopedic or what. But most of all please pray for my healing. Thank you. Tricia.

4/19/14 - Dallas Bennewitz has problem with eczema all over his body. It itches so badly and he would scratch his arm until it bleed and blisters broke out his arms.

June Ault called me last April 16 to tell you that she was very surprised that she had all the energy to be able to do cleaning around her kitchen area that had not been cleaned for one and a half year. She said for me to tell you, praise God, He heard your prayers and she couldn’t believe how good she felt and was able to work all day which she doesn’t normally do. So thank you, prayer warriors for your prayers. It means a lot to me. June Ault.

Betty Jo Bennewitz called me to tell you that she wants to thank you and thank God for prayers because all the tests came out just fine and that her legs are just fine. She still has cold ankles and feet and the Doctor was not able to find the source of problem. Keep praying for complete healing. She mentioned Dallas’ prayer need above.

4/15/14 - Rev. Kurt Wilcox would appreciate your prayers for his aching lower back and other part of the body, too. He had back surgery, but it seems to be of little help. He has been suffering for some times and really need healing very much.

4/15/16 - Dianne Oppreicht needs healing for her many kinds of ailments in her body. She is a great prayer warrior and is thrilled to see the prayer list names so she could really pray for you even though she suffered very much with different part in her body. She trust God for healing, but with you being involved in prayer, it means a lot to her. 

4/15/16 - Janet Jordan's mother is going downhill with her health and is in nursing home. Janet needs strength to go through at this time. She would appreciate your prayer support.

4/13/14 - Jane Loveland of SLC, Utah - Request prayer for her strength to be strong since she's 85 and loves the Lord very much. Last year she just lost her husband, Paul who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart before he passed away. Jane's only contact is through text and we kept in touch. She used to have a Deaf Church by Rod Renuch who flew from Denver, Colorado once or twice a month. Tony Callies flew there for a revival during 1980's. When she was able she would attend Deaf Convention back then. I came to know her more personally when we met again in Rhode Island for National Deaf Culture Fellowship/Deaf Convention.

4/8/14 - John Braddy - Pray for Eye Doctor's wisdom how to help his double vision problem. With his eye glasses, it okay. He had cataracts removed, but not sure why the double vision. 
 
4/13/14 - Bob Gutierrez - Pray for Bob's eyes will have surgery on April 22 for cataracts and found he has little glaucoma. 

4/8/14 - Jane and Joe ( not real names) Please add anonymously to the prayer list. We are in severe financial distress and we are praying for wisdom and guidance to budget a more Godly way. Joe has a job and it should be more than enough but foolishly borrowing and using credit cards has been our downfall. We are NOT asking for any money from anyone, just prayers because we fully know and expect the Lord to answer all the prayers. Rejoicing in Him always!

4/13/14 - Jane Loveland of Utah just text me a moment ago 3 pm central time that she felt so much better and thank us for your prayer.

4/11/14 - June Ault - She wants to thank you all for praying for her. She felt so different since her names was on the prayer list. She knew that it was your prayers because she notice some changes in her body. Praise the Lord when she called me on Video Phone. Wow! Your prayers are powerful and God heard prayers.

4/10/14 - Tony Callies - He got a call from his Heart Doctor and the Doctor cancelled the April 11th appointment because he did not go through catheters. So the next follow up would be the same in June. This was a great relief to us because there so much different tests and seeing several doctors during the last two months.  This made us very tired and now we are getting our strength back. So thank you for your prayers. 

4/5/14 - June Ault -  Thank The Lord for having no pains on her chest since Thursday when we were on Video Phone. I prayed with her and bound the strongman and throw the pains out and allow God's anointing Spirit to come upon her chest and we kept praying until the power of God came down on her. She felt relief and relax and peaceful. Thank you for your prayers behind it. Could not have done without your prayers. 

4/4/14 - Albert Jones  - Gets his first eye glasses and he is having hard time to adjust them. Thank you for praying for him and even though we could see that God is healing him very slowly.  Praise God for wonderful work on Albert.

4/4/14 - Tony Callies  - Today Tony went to see his family Doctor to check on his lower back problem on the right side. The tests on his kidneys were clear except for small cyst which has no related to the pains. So the doctor gave him medicine to relax his muscle and for pains. Also a booklet that would help Tony exercise for his lower back. So he is okay. Thank you for your prayers. Also thank you Lord for Your mercy.

3/21/14 Tony Callies  From March 25, 2014 on Tuesday morning, Tony went for Catheters and the Catheters/Doctor decided that there was no need to catheters on Tony’s heart and there was no life threatens. He just needs to take medicines on Xarelto to keep clear of blood clots and Metoprolol to keep his heart pulse steady. I was surprised how things turned out different than I expect. Tony looks different and better that morning since many of you prayed for him so thank God for your prayers. 

3/29/14 Albert Jones, Jr.   Albert’s right eye has improved a lot since a year ago. He is a great prayer warrior & the Lord laid burden on him to pray early mornings. He learned to praise the Lord daily and quote scriptures for healing. Continue to pray for him.

Also pray for my pastor to walk the certain, truth path where God bring her to point God wants her to be. Last of all, pray for me to be bold sharing people about God at my work. Thank you. 3/31/14 Tara         Good morning DOROTHY! I love getting your devotionals along with prayers ..GOD is so faithful  I sure could use prayer chain for my spiritual journey after unhealthy marriage relationship and best friend who interfere with our marriage ...my heart is torn. Pray for protection and safety for me and dogs :) as going thru divorce. Pray for continue strength and courage to get through this and give me guidance for the future plans. Plus pray and bless those people that their heart will turn to GOD and not continue to go devil path. The devil sure is evil and has turn those people heart black and away from GOD. JEREMIAH 33:3 “CALL TO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER YOU, AND SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS …”

I remember I watched Benny Hinn program and I want to lay hand on the TV for my personal prayer need, but Holy Spirit spoke to me, "Wait." So I waited. Then I flew with Monika Couch to Maryland for Deaf Ladies Retreat (year ?). On Sunday morning, Monika called me for prayer deliverance and this time, all the deaf ladies joined together as learning "on hand experience intercession" for me. Three times, I was prayed for and I was healed from "right neck, like an eagle's claw;" "top head pressure when it gets cold since teenager" result of sinus drainage and I felt the "tender-heart from Holy Spirit" doves sitting on top of my both shoulders (told me to stop picking on someone and to be tender.)

Then God spoke to me, "I want Deaf ladies to pray for you to show you that I still care for the Deaf ladies." Then after that all the ladies gathered around for Monika and me to pray for them and there was a greater break through on Sunday morning because on Saturday night, some of the ladies were not able to get through 100% until after they learned to pray for me on Sunday morning. Then God answered their prayers and all of them received healing and deliverance. It was an awesome experience to watch God at work among us.

Healing Verse: Mark 11:24, NKJV Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

3/29/14    Martha Clements of IL      Please pray for me since Dec. 31, I had surgery for 3rd time on my hip muscle but my heart stopped. And they defib my heart which caused chest pain and since that time I have breathing problems and back pain. Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Medicare rejected the request for surgery on my back. So I need healing on my hip, breathing problems, and back pain. Thank you for praying for me. May God bless all healings for all the deaf who loves the Lord. I love you all! Please pray for the deaf communities who do not know Jesus as their Savior. It is very soon that He is coming. Let's be more than just a prayer warrior, but be anxious to preach the gospel to the deaf! Look up to the air and watch and listen for the trumpets!!! Martha

3/26/14    June Ault of PA               In her left upper lung has cancer and 50/50 chances to live if she was operated on. June decided to trust the Lord and that was 2 years ago. She is surprised that the Lord kept her alive. She has others problems with her body and she suffered a lot. She is a great prayer warrior and prays for the church with long list of names. Her prayer request right  now was that she has pains between her chests. (I called her and she said that it was a little better when I continue to pray for her). Praise the Lord!

3/26/14    Albert Jones, Jr. of Blm, IL  He had eye problems last year & he could not see or read much. Many of us prayed for him and his right eye had several surgeries to repair his inner eye. Lately, he was able to read some and his right eyes improved a lot. The left eye has cataract and he can’t see & it was put on hold until his right eye improved before the Doctor could work on the left eye. Pray for complete healing on both eyes.

3/29/14   Trica Bowman of MN         Last Wed I went to have a second time laser for glaucoma and the eye pressure was up to 30. I go back to eye Doctor on Monday, March 31 to see if it’s below 20’s.  The first time I had this done, I lost vision. I do not want to lose again in second time.  I would like prayers that things will be ok and I do not wish to be totally blind. I had a very bad headaches for a few weeks and that's how found out my eye pressure shot up. It should be 10, not over 30.
