 Praise Report: Lucy Schmidt gave amazing praise report concerning her son, Nick. Nick has greatly improved to where he became restless and wants to go home. But the Doctor has more work to do on Nick so continue to pray for Nick. Lucy decided to stay a little longer to be with Nick at Lancaster, California. So pray for Lucy’s strength to stay strong in the Lord.

**Thank You Father for answering our prayers. We continue to lift Nick up to You for a full recovery. You are magnified and exalted in our praise and worship. Now, we're praying for Lucy to remain strong in You and keep her armour on all the time. Thank You for giving her joy which is the strength of the Lord. Let Your peace be reigning in Lucy's spirit, soul and body. Thank You Jesus, our Prince of Peace and Holy Spirit, our Strengthener.

Praise Report and prayer: Pauline Braddy is now in Rehab/Nursing Home for her exercise and her husband, John gave a glowing report that Pauline has improved tremendously. The therapist was amazed how much she has improved so much during her exercise time. She looks so happy and is very talkative. Please continue to pray for her left arm to become strong again. [She had mild stroke.]

 **Thank You Jesus again for Your powerful touch on Pauline's body, healing her completely. I ask now that her left arm be strong in the name of Jesus. Regain full strength in that arm now. Muscles grow in the name of Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus.

Martha Clements: I need prayers really bad. I have severe arthritis and I am not doing well. It is in my hands, in my left knee, in my back, and in my right thigh/hip.  Now i am in constant pain as well as loss of bladder control. I received news that i might still have UTI after 3 months of treatment. I will hear from doctor about this urine test. My pain in my body has become unbearable to the point of where i cry out to God for help and healing. Please dear partners pray for me urgently. I am trusting God to hear your prayers. Thank you! Martha

 **Father, I am praying for Martha. She needs You Jesus. You are her Healer. Let her experience Your loving and healing touch right now. We are confident in You and Your Word. What You say comes to pass. We believe You heal today as You have done in the past and will do in the future. Now, I'm agreeing with You about Your Word being sent to Martha and healing her. Arthritis and pain, you bow your knees to the name of Jesus and leave Martha's body now in the name of Jesus. Get out of her hands, knees, back and hips. UTI, in the name of Jesus, get out of Martha's bladder. I speak the Word of life and health to Martha's body. Holy Spirit, come with healing power and restore her body whole from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Let all the cells behave normally and work together perfectly as You have designed. Martha is free of arthritis, pain and UTI. Thank You Jesus, our Healer. Your Word is working in her right now. Praise Your Name now.

Kathryn McGillem send prayer need from her Ass. Pastor Keith Templeton: Hello all prayer warriors, Begin prayers for Vonda Templeton who will have thyroid surgery on Tuesday Oct. 28, 2014. Not sure how long she’ll be in hospital.  Not sure what the doctors will find.  Not sure if they can save her voice box. One thing I am sure about. Jesus is Lord, he can do anything.  There’s nothing too hard for God.  I’m believing for a miracle. Please add Vonda to prayer list.

  **Father, thank You for prayer warriors for their time to pray and believing You completely. Let us all come to an agreement that Jesus heals now and Vonda be made free from thyroid problem, a miracle that only comes from You. Yes, nothing is too hard for You, our Healer & top Physician to heal her completely, be made whole, strong and well. We are joining with Kathryn and her firm belief for a healing miracle for Vonda. Betty Jo Bennewitz gave report that her husband Dallas’ eyes are going down. He will see his vision doctor. What he need is a miracle for his eyes. He is over 80 years old.

**Jesus, You are our Miracle Worker and we believe You that You still do miracles today. We are praying for a healing miracle with Dallas' eyes. Restore his eyesight to normal vision. Just like Moses had great eyesight. His eyes did not dim but strong. We give thanks and praises to You Lord Jesus Christ.

#30 Oct 4 Prayer Need & Praise Reports

Psalm 70:4 "Let all those that seek thee rejoice and rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, 'Let God be magnified.'" The meaning of the word magnified is extol; praise; to increase or to enlarge. It is like we use magnify glass to read the very fine print and make it bigger and easier to read. The testimonies of God's healing power made our God a greater God. "Let God be magnified!"

Anyway I want to share this prayer request and some wonderful testimonies.

Pauline Braddy from Illinois was in the hospital for IV into her neck to prevent more stroke for a week. Prayer has helped her to become more alive and she has improved greatly. Now Pauline will go to Rehab to exercise her left arm, etc. She was able to walk. It would be painful exercise and that part she needs prayer to overcome and increase the use of her muscle. Her husband, John testified that it was a miracle that she became talkative after so many hours of sleeps for two days. Wow. "Let God be magnified!"

Bill Eckstein is on oxygen 24 hours a day to keep himself from falling. Yet he came to church which surprised everyone and he looks good. His health has greatly improved and thanks to your prayer that his colon problem has been corrected and healed completely. We praise God for this marvelous change in Bill. "Let God be magnified!"

Dianne Oppriecht has a wonderful testimony that she was able to eat oatmeal every morning for a month and her stomach has greatly improved. She is feeling better very slowly and really appreciate your prayers. She kept saying, "Prayer  really works. God does hear them. Thank you partners for your prayers. It means a lot to me" said Dianne. Wow! "Let God be magnified!"

Betty Jo Bennewitz gave a glowing report that most of her tests were good and her kidneys are stabled. What she needs right now is your prayer for her lower spinal cord area has spur problem that needs to be rehab to see if they could correct it without taking any risk on shots. Let's believe and say, "Let God be magnified" in Betty Jo's lower spinal cord and be healed in Jesus' name. Amen!

Tony Callies is having problem with his hip which made it difficult for him to walk with pain. When he rested, he seems fine. But when he walks, it hurts. Oh, let God be magnified and let Tony's right hip be healed in Jesus' name.

Linda Jochems of Michigan would appreciate your prayer for her bladder problem she had for a long time. The doctor recommend her for surgery so they are giving a test for that. She asked for prayer that all will go smoothly and that the hand of the surgeon would fixed it right. So let God be magnified and healed Linda Jochem in Jesus name. Amen!

Celebrated 45 years with Normal Deaf Church Group of Illinois, History & Legacy

Pauline Braddy in yellow blazer and with her husband John first came to Brother Couch in Peoria, Illinois outstation ministry twice a month on Sunday afternoon. Rev. Couch traveled from Rockford, Illinois after church to spread the gospel. The Braddy and the Eckstein (Eckstein was not able to attend) were the couples that traveled with children in one big van.

Then John Braddy asked Brother Couch for a need of Pastor to the Deaf in Normal, Illinois to the First Assembly of God. Rev. Couch asked Rev. Tony Callies to pastor so we were installed as pastors in May 1969. There's a story after that. I might finished it later.  Dorothy Callies

#29 Sept 22 Prayer Requests & Praise Report

Psalm 30:1-4 “I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and has not made my foes to rejoice over me. O Lord my God I cried to thee, and thou hast healed me. O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.”

Pauline Braddy – She came home from 11 days stayed at the hospital. Her kidney report that one was good and the other kidney will be on cleaning machine. (Spell?)   On Saturday, Sept. 20^th, we were surprised that John and Pauline came in the afternoon to the 45^th History of Normal Deaf Church Anniversary and we all rejoiced with them. We had anniversary cake and it was a good fellowship.

9/21/14 – Audrey informed me that Pauline Braddy fell twice and had to be taken by 911 to the hospital on Sunday. Monday morning news from Audrey:  Her room is 1016 at the Comprehensive Care Center (new building with St. Joseph's Hospital) First floor. She has light stroke for sure and her kidney has infection. Christine Mitchell - Hi hi, it is skin cancer so they are sending it to the cancer lab then will send him a letter re final result. We believe he'll get a good report though. Thank you for your prayers. Oh by the way Norm had his heart surgery yesterday. All went well yet he is in agony pain. Christine Mitchell - Praise report! Norm is out of ICU after heart surgery. He was in a lot of pain yet recuperating very well. James Wisinger - Please special prayer for me back to USA from here in Dominican Republic Deaf Missionary for 2 years. I will move in Hot Springs, Arkansas for get Visa Resident Card to get my wife and her kids will be move in Arkansas with me. Dean Hardy’s mom, Paula Hardy - Mom is doing pretty good. They found a clot in her leg as well as in her side/right lung. Doctors have her on blood thinners now & are working on regulating her INR count (how thinned they would like to keep her blood). Keep praying. She will be seeing specialists about her heart, knees & kidney stone in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for asking, Dean

Dorothy Callies – Please pray for my strength to work on the power point presentation for 45 years of Normal Deaf Church’s Legacy for this coming Saturday, Sept. 20 at 1:30-3 pm. It will be held at the Gym building at First Assembly of God, Normal, Illinois. From 11-12 am, Tony and I will be leading duet with old songs from Evangelism and Tony will give devotion on “I Have Fought the Good Fight.” He needs strength and wisdom from the Lord.

June Ault of Penn. – Thank you for your prayers. The Lord has answered many of my needs. Even though I had some problems, the blood works shows excellent report. I thank Him for helping me through the difficulty of my age.

Jeremiah 33:2-3 “Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is His name; Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Christine Mitchell, Winnipeg, Canada - Hi hi ,  Prayer requests please!

1. Our friend a couple who haven't received Jesus as their Savior. No matter how many times sister and brother shared the word of God with them. They resisted anyone sharing the Good News. They both are in their 70's.  Her husband was brought to the emergency hospital last Saturday, he had very low blood pressure and he will need a heart surgery next week and says that the surgery is very risky. We would like a prayer chain to pray for The Lord to guide the doctor during surgery and may the result be of a good report and that they both receive salvation.

2. My husband Len went to see a dermatologist re small "mole" to be removed and send to the lab and he received a call saying that it was confirmed that his arm area had a melanoma. They are sending to the Cancer Centre. May he receive a good report; we don't have to be in fear and put our trust in the Lord's hand. Thank you all for your prayer support. Rev. Pastor Terry Newman of Bloomington, Illinois – Prayer requests please!

Pastor Terry and his wife Suzy flew to Florida for 7 days to participate the Baseball Tournament and to receive award. The humid and heat was bad and Pastor Terry had heat stroke. It hit him hard to where he could not express words so he rested and drank lots of water. He seems to improve some. He and his wife flew home. He had to take it easy. He is having some memory problem so he needs prayer desperately for healing power. He quoted God’s words which has helped him.

Tony is doing well with his skins and he will check with his Doctor on Sept. 22^nd. Please pray for Sept. 20^th that God will give wisdom how to plan the 45^th Deaf Church History’s Anniversary on Saturday. Tony will give devotion on “I Have Fought the Good Fight” quoted by Paul, 2 Timothy 4:7. Both of us will sing lead duets as a memory of many old songs we sang.
