22 July 2017 – There is a season – Devotion by Dorothy Callies

Thank you for your prayer.  Tony is improving slowly. Therapists are working hard to encourage Tony to walk more with walker. Tony and I are learning to focus on Jesus and God's strength in Tony's body. 

           

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season ... a time to every purpose under                                             the heaven.  

1) There is a season of a growing relationship with Jesus.

            John 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you ..."

 2) There is a season of patience and waiting on God's timing.

            Psalm 25:3 "Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed ..."

3) There is a season of resting.

            Ps. 37:7 "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret (worry) not                                          yourself ..."

Thank You Lord for Your Word is a Sword of the Spirit in Jesus' name. Amen!  

May 12th News of Tony

News of Tony Callies starting May 12th that ended his staying at Heritage Health Rehab Healthcare from April 25th to May 12th. Reason? Insurance limitation to seventeen days when he should be walking, but his fracture right arm prevent him from using walker. It takes two therapists to help him walk with bar. He was forced to move out on May 12th if he could not pay for room and board since insurance no longer cover them.

May 12th was the day that the only place was opened for Tony was at Bloomington Rehab Healthcare which we were grateful. He is still there, slowing recovering and now he is able to use both his hands on walker to walk.

News of Tony Callies 4/25/17

Good morning, friend! 

Prayer for Tony Callies.
He had surgery for hip replacement on April 15th, and he had difficult time to get started on walking because of his injured shoulder and arm that happened on April 13th along with a broken hip. With his right shoulder and arm splint, he was not successful in walking because it requires both hands to hold on walker and he is unable to do so.
 
Tony has moved from the hospital to Recovery Rehab Nursing Home on April 25th and please pray that the therapists will be successful to help Tony walk again.

I personally need prayer because I get real tired from so many trips to be with Tony. I need strength and healing and many thanks for your prayer support.

News of Tony Callies 1/19/17

News of Tony Callies from Dorothy Callies:

Yesterday on January 18th, Tony met with his heart Doctor for his usual check up. The Doctor was very surprised to read all the reports that Tony's health has improved so much. It started when one friend had suggested that we pray for all parts of Tony's body. So two of us as agreed in prayer through Jesus' name.  There's power in two agreeing together to pray. 

Matthew 18:19 Jesus said, "That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Testimony & Prayer 1/14/17

Testimony:

Jan. 14, 2017 -Tony’s result in blood test on Jan. 6 for specific platelet, he improved from 129 to 137.  They were surprised so thank you for prayers.  The goal is to reach 145-375. He will have another blood test next two months so please pray that his platelet reached 145 as normal. Dorothy Callies
                  

Jan. 14, 2017 - June Ault of PA. Please pray for her as she goes through a very rough time with several things she is facing.  Physically, she is exhausted. She needs healing. She needs her volunteer to be faithful in helping with her groceries since June cannot drive or go out much unless it is very necessary like seeing her doctor.  With housing authority, lots of questions and paper works exhausted her, but she came through okay knowing they will help her financially. She is thankful that God helped her through it.  May our prayers support her spiritually since she has been a very faithful prayer warrior. Dorothy Callies

Jan. 14, 2017 - Jane Loveland of Utah.  The result of her therapy since October 2016, she was able to get out of wheel chair and use walker or cane.  It was a slow healing and she is gaining strength.  Considered that a miracle especially when she is 88 or 89 years of age.

Jan. 14, 2017 - Dorothy Callies' Training Center, Deaf Prayer Partners Ministry. Please pray that God will bless the students with studies of the lessons so they would become future workers for the Lord.  The Lord led Tony and me, as pastors and teachers to open the training center at our home since Oct. 3, 2016 and it has been a blessing.  

Psalm 117:1-2 "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever.  Praise the Lord! (NKJV).  [Laud means praise]

 Psalm 54:2 "Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth."
 Psalm 6:9 "The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer."

12/13/16 - News of Tony Callies' physical check up with blood test. All came out normal (liver is normal) except platelet, too low, need to take blood test on Dec. 30 and Tony will see his heart doctor in Jan. 11.  Thank you for praying for him.  Dorothy 

 12/13/16 Alice Hodgson request prayer: We need your prayer for next Wednesday, we are going to drive to New Jersey to visit our older daughter and family. We will stay for a few days. My husband, Fred is worried about driving through the snow and felt it's risky. Please pray that he will trust God to help him through.  Merry Christmas to you and Tony. Prayer Need & Testimonies 11/10/16

10 November 2016 - Testimonies and Prayer Requests by Dorothy

Philippians 1:7 “Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart.” [This is Paul’s prayer for Philippians and I like this to be for us as well.]

Remember this? 10/26/16 Jane Loveland of Utah fell and broke bone below her pelvic, went to hospital to get it fix and now in Rehab for recovery.  Please pray for her speedy recovery.  Dorothy PS.  She can’t move her right leg. She is 89 years old. She’s a great prayer warrior. 

Testimony: 11/10/16 Jane Loveland was in wheel chair for a while and she is now home using walker. She is able to walk around slowly.  She fell twice and recently hit her head. Please pray that she becomes stable in walking with her walker.

Remember this? 10/26/16 Dianne Oppreicht of Wisc talked with me on VP that she went to ER again for her shingles and they used corn starch over it and it started to heal.

Testimony: 11/1/16 Dianne Oppreicht on VP said that her shingles are completely healed. She is thankful for your prayers.  Now she needs prayer for pain all over her body. Her doctor cannot give her anymore pain pills because it affects her kidneys. Her only hope is our prayers for her.

Prayer Requests:

11/10/16 Tony Callies on November 11, 2016, on Friday morning, he will have biopsy on his head, tiny spot that won’t heal and to remove the skin cancer and be tested a few times until it is completely cleared.  Please pray for him.  Thanks! Dorothy

10/26/16 Martha Clements: I have a prayer request!

My only granddaughter, Kira, aged 18 years old, is flying to Reno, with a stopover in L.A. To visit her best friend, Manny, her school-mate, and he is a boy, black, and nice boy. I am asking the Lord to protect her during both flights, going to and coming home, and to protect her from Manny. She does NOT drink or smoke but i fear of Manny who is in Reno for college, and you know how college kids become alcoholic while at college.

So I am asking the Lord to protect her with a league of angels to protect her from evil and from Manny. I thank you all for praying for my only grandchild. Yes, she is the only grandchild I have. Thank you! God be with you all as i pray for you all with your requests. God bless you all, Martha Clements.
