Ruth Eckstein, 80, of Urbana, formerly of Normal, died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday (March 26, 2016) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. On Thursday, March 31, 2016 the funeral service were held at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman, Bloomington, Ill. Ruth's burial were held at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso beside her husband Billy Eckstein. Survivors: her daughters, Kay (Jack) Butcher, Urbana, and Melinda (Tim) Thomas, Heyworth; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores Heiken, Rockford, Illinois.

Bill Eckstein passed away peacefully
on Thursday morning of June 11, 2015. The funeral was held at El Paso, Illinois
on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 12 to 4 pm with wake, service, funeral and pot
luck. Bill was well remembered by many, especially he was in drama with his
family in the Parable of Sower, first with Super 8 film in 1972 and later
converted into DVD in 2005. May the Lord comforts the families of Ruth Eckstein
