#18 May 29, 2014 Testimonies

Psalm77:11-12 “I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Thy wonders of old. I will mediate also of all Thy works, and talk of Thy doings.”

Melinda Gerstein - I Praise God that I graduated. I felt honored to be a Valedictorian for the doctor of Theology.  Now my goal is to get a full-time permanent position in teaching bible colleges in the area of biblical studies/church history and ASL.  lease pray for me. If you know any college organization that allows woman to teach, please post on my facebook or private chat. May God Bless you. :-) Melinda

Stephanie Wilcox, KC – Testimony of Lost Bible - Wow! I do believe The Lord is that kind of person who will answer our prayers! He loves us more than anything!!!! I remembered back in 2010, ( I was in Kansas visiting my family) someone broke in my car and stole few things like GPS, my bible in bible case along with checkbook, I was upset and I knew it wasn't worth calling police because most of it was small things and police don't care about Bible but I do!!! I started praying hard and believed my Bible will be returned! About 30 minutes later, it was pouring raining hard outside in the month of July!  The door knocked and my dad went to answer the door, ( I followed him) the man said, “I believe this belongs to you.” When I saw the Bible case I immediately knew it was mine and I asked him how did you know? He said he found it from the road in the street and it was opened. He found the pictures of my three kids and recognized the background of my parent house and he doesn't know us! I was so thrilled! What was even more amazing, my Bible wasn't even wet at all!!! It was like God protected my love letter! My family were shocked! That's all I want I didn't care about GPS or anything else!!! Dorothy, I believed your testimony!!!! Thanks for reminding me how much The Lord truly love us!!! God bless you!

Melinda Gerstein, Chicago – Testimony of Cold Water - The other day, I was getting on the bus. The bus driver did not wait for me to sit down. I fell down and spilled my drink. Few people helped me to get up. I sat down. By the time, I get off the bus a young lady with a baby gave me a bottle of cold water. I thank and bless her. Giving a bottle or cup of cold water to the least is the greatest in God’s eyes. It reminds me of Matthew 10:42 “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”

Christine LoefflerTestimony - For years, I have believe in healing power, but God has not yet answered my prayers. I couldn't understand why. I was so sick with bad cold, and got very cold. Body temperature was off.  I had bad sinus infection from allergy. But the specialists could not find out why my body temperature was off.  God answered my prayer through someone who told me about colon cleaning, eat healthy food, & exercise. I had gradually gotten better. God opened my eyes to see different way to heal my bodies. I thought of this scripture:  I Cor. 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”  I thanked God for showing me how to take care of my health!

Tricia Borman, MN – My Testimony - Last May 2nd I had a cortisone shot in my left knee and the second day, I had a very bad reaction and nearly went to ER. However on the third day, I felt pretty good. I went to Nashville, TN for the blind bowlers’ national tourney. I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to keep my knee pain free to bowl 3 different days and surely it did remain pain-free. One evening some of the group from Minneapolis blind bowlers went to a show at grand ole opry house in Nashville. The escalator was broken, I had to walk up many steps, then got upstairs and had to go up again for many more steps, and then finally I walked down some steps to our seats.  I thanked the Lord that my knee had no pain at all even though I walked up many steps.  I would not have been able to do that before May 2nd. Yes, I walked up slowly but I kept believing the Lord that I would not feel any pain while doing it. God answered my prayers. Smile! PTL!

Dorothy Callies – Reading their testimonies lead me to sing this song: “This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.” It was written by Fanny Jane Crosby, who was blind. She wrote thousands of songs.

#17 May 26, 2014 Prayer Answered

#17 May 26, 2014 Words of encouragement, Urgent prayers, Prayer Answered

5/26/14 Dianne Oppreicht – PRAYER ANSWERED: She called about noon on VP to tell me and you the marvelous news. She did came home from hospital last week with swollen legs so we prayed for her legs to be reduced. But she got very sick and went back to hospital again last Friday, May 23. They discovered that she had too much antibiotics in her body for one full month. So they put IV in her to clean out the antibiotics and the miracles she had was that her swollen legs had reduced to normal legs in 2-3 days. She came home today, May 26, to tell me that God really cares! She wants you to know that God does cares and wants to heal. Oh! What a beautiful testimony and she thank you so much for the prayer chains. It meant a lot to her and wants those who have not received prayer answered, not to give up. Trust God and give God the praise! You, Lord are a mighty God! Thank You, Lord for hearing Shelley’s prayer and our prayer chain partners. God loves you so much!!!!!!!

Shelley’s words of encouragement and leading prayer – (Dot: Who knows? This prayer helped Dianne Oppreicht as well as yours. Don’t give up!)
5/25/14 Shelley Quinn - Praise the Lord for His mighty work. The line from Maria Woodworth-Etter's book says the devil is mighty but God is Almighty! I'm so thankful your prayers were answered. Bless God. Yes, we are to look to our God to fight our battles and stand strong in Him. He is faithful and brings His will to pass in our lives. We exalt His Name, above all names in our minds, mouth, hands and actions. We love what He loves and hate what He hates. Let the power of Holy Spirit be real and moving now in all of us. I believe healing is for today and ours since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Praise His Name. 3 John 1:2 reads Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. You and I are His beloved in Christ and wants us healthy and well, soul and body. Onward to health, divine healing and being healed in Jesus' Name!

5/25/14 Ruth Eckstein – Ruth called and her grandson-in-law, Chris is improving since they operate his pancreas and still in need of a miracle to be healed from several problems. Continue to pray for Chris. Ruth appreciated the prayer chains very much.

He has been hung to live for his mother sake but his body became worse than before - ALS disease. Last, my mother has been very sick with two illness - bronchitis and sinus infection for one week or so. Pray that they come to know Jesus and I am stuck up here in VA for work till June 14th, will fly to Texas and ministry to them before too late. Thanks for ur prayers. God bless you and watch over you all the way. Michy

5/25/14 Martha Clements - Bill's eye surgeries went well but his left eye was bothering him a little. So I am praying for it to stop bothering him. As for me, I am good but suffer a bit with my leg that had 3 surgeries on the same area. Hmm! It hurts. So I thank you for asking! Martha

Douglas Blvd, Chicago, IL on Sunday, May 25th at 4:00 PM. What an honor and congratulation, Melinda!)

5/24/14 – Dorothy CalliesPrayer Request: When my purse was stolen, I became like a “lion, roaring in prayer,” demanding my purse back and got it. BUT when it comes to a new technology of Z10 cell phone, I am becoming like a “puppy who whines,” trying to learn new things. What I need is God’s grace to endure all things like a soldier as Paul said to Timothy, “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2Tim.2:3). NVC: "Share in trouble we have like a good soldier of Jesus Christ."

5/24/14 – Dorothy CalliesContinue to pray for Ruth Eckstein’ granddaughter, Amber’s husband, Chris still hanging by the thread. Continue to pray for others’ prayer requests that has not been answered yet. I am checking with the past prayer requests that I have not heard yet. You could log in http://deafprayerpartners.blogspot.com/ if you have not had a chance to check it out and to continue to praise God for prayer answered by faith. Faith is the victory, faith is a victory, Oh, glorious victory that overcometh the world!

It was so good to see Dianne on VP once again.

5/22/14 – Ruth Eckstein/Normal, IL – Urgent prayer for Chris: She called on VP that her grandson-in-law, Chris has both lungs blockage the other day and then another phone call that he is now on life support. Ruth is not sure exactly what it does to Chris. It might be to open his lung to breathe since it didn’t say about his heart? But she really wants us to pray because she looks very concern.

5/22/14 - Karen Batts/Peoria, Illinois - Thank you for starting up these "Hot Line" Prayer Requests... Helps me to stay in tune with my Christians Brother and Sister whom I have no met. Vs 8 I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others. Vs 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”  Every time I open Urgent Prayer Requests...I am becoming rich! My spirit become connect to those who have prayer requests and those who needs prayers. I am indeed rich! Thank you, Dorothy for encouraging us to support one another. God Bless You. (Dot: Your’ welcome)

5/21/14 - Christine Loeffler/Reinig Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you Lord for using Dot to have her ministry:  Daily Bread & prayer chains.  So many people who have health problems are crying to you for healing touch. You have a reason to heal each person in a different way.  Some may not receive immediate healing touch. They may not realize that You may be showing them other way the same way You did to me. If you want them to go through colon cleaning, proper food, & exercise, then show them the way. Pray that you would send someone in their life to show them how to take care of their health properly. I will quote what Dot shared about believe:  I believe in the Name of Jesus that you are the Healer. Nothing is impossible to you!   Thank you, Jesus, for hearing this prayer.  In the Name of Jesus.  Amen! Christine

I said, “Yes!” He said, “Come to the station to pick up my missing purse.” I went to the police station and I couldn’t believe my purse was returned, but I had to check what was missing. My cell phone and $40 dollars cash was missing. Everything else was there especially debit and credit cards. It was amazing and I told the clerk, I prayed.
