#16 May 25, 2014 Holiday Greetings & Prayer Needs

#16 May 25, 2014 – Holiday Greetings, Prayer Requests, & Continuing prayers:

2 Timothy 2:3 “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." NVC: "Share in trouble we have like a good soldier of Jesus Christ."

5/19/14 Dorothy: Bless the Deaf Canadians who took the time to tell me that it is Victoria Day which falls on the third Monday of May which is last Monday. It was an honor to Queen Victoria. Well then, Happy Belated Victoria Day for Canadians on 3rd Monday of May! And for Americans, Happy Holiday on 4th Monday of May!

5/24/14 Karen Lindsay – Prayer request for her daughter Vicki Olson because she often has terrible headaches. Pray for my son, Preston Lindsay and his wife Teresa need prayer support, encouragement, and help from the Lord for the problems they are facing.

5/22/14 Melinda GersteinPrayer request for God to help me with this year’s class Valedictorian in Ph.D. (theology) at Stone Temple Church, 3622 W. Douglas Blvd, Chicago, IL on Sunday, May 25th at 4:00 PM. (Dot: For those who don’t know the word, Valedictorian means: the student usually of the highest rank in a graduating class who gives the farewell speech at graduation ceremonies. Wow! What an honor and congratulation, Melinda!)

5/24/14 – Dorothy CalliesPrayer Request: When my purse was stolen, I became like a “lion, roaring in prayer,” demanding my purse back and got it. BUT when it comes to a new technology of Z10 cell phone, I am becoming like a “puppy who whines,” trying to learn new things. What I need is God’s grace to endure all things like a soldier as Paul said to Timothy, “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2Tim.2:3). NVC: "Share in trouble we have like a good soldier of Jesus Christ."

5/24/14 – Dorothy CalliesContinue to pray for Ruth Eckstein’ granddaughter, Amber’s husband, Chris still hanging by the thread. Continue to pray for others’ prayer requests that has not been answered yet. I am checking with the past prayer requests that I have not heard yet. You could log in http://deafprayerpartners.blogspot.com/ if you have not had a chance to check it out and to continue to praise God for prayer answered by faith. Faith is the victory, faith is a victory, Oh, glorious victory that overcometh the world!
