#18 May 29, 2014 Testimonies

Psalm77:11-12 “I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Thy wonders of old. I will mediate also of all Thy works, and talk of Thy doings.”

Melinda Gerstein - I Praise God that I graduated. I felt honored to be a Valedictorian for the doctor of Theology.  Now my goal is to get a full-time permanent position in teaching bible colleges in the area of biblical studies/church history and ASL.  lease pray for me. If you know any college organization that allows woman to teach, please post on my facebook or private chat. May God Bless you. :-) Melinda

Stephanie Wilcox, KC – Testimony of Lost Bible - Wow! I do believe The Lord is that kind of person who will answer our prayers! He loves us more than anything!!!! I remembered back in 2010, ( I was in Kansas visiting my family) someone broke in my car and stole few things like GPS, my bible in bible case along with checkbook, I was upset and I knew it wasn't worth calling police because most of it was small things and police don't care about Bible but I do!!! I started praying hard and believed my Bible will be returned! About 30 minutes later, it was pouring raining hard outside in the month of July!  The door knocked and my dad went to answer the door, ( I followed him) the man said, “I believe this belongs to you.” When I saw the Bible case I immediately knew it was mine and I asked him how did you know? He said he found it from the road in the street and it was opened. He found the pictures of my three kids and recognized the background of my parent house and he doesn't know us! I was so thrilled! What was even more amazing, my Bible wasn't even wet at all!!! It was like God protected my love letter! My family were shocked! That's all I want I didn't care about GPS or anything else!!! Dorothy, I believed your testimony!!!! Thanks for reminding me how much The Lord truly love us!!! God bless you!

Melinda Gerstein, Chicago – Testimony of Cold Water - The other day, I was getting on the bus. The bus driver did not wait for me to sit down. I fell down and spilled my drink. Few people helped me to get up. I sat down. By the time, I get off the bus a young lady with a baby gave me a bottle of cold water. I thank and bless her. Giving a bottle or cup of cold water to the least is the greatest in God’s eyes. It reminds me of Matthew 10:42 “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”

Christine LoefflerTestimony - For years, I have believe in healing power, but God has not yet answered my prayers. I couldn't understand why. I was so sick with bad cold, and got very cold. Body temperature was off.  I had bad sinus infection from allergy. But the specialists could not find out why my body temperature was off.  God answered my prayer through someone who told me about colon cleaning, eat healthy food, & exercise. I had gradually gotten better. God opened my eyes to see different way to heal my bodies. I thought of this scripture:  I Cor. 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”  I thanked God for showing me how to take care of my health!

Tricia Borman, MN – My Testimony - Last May 2nd I had a cortisone shot in my left knee and the second day, I had a very bad reaction and nearly went to ER. However on the third day, I felt pretty good. I went to Nashville, TN for the blind bowlers’ national tourney. I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to keep my knee pain free to bowl 3 different days and surely it did remain pain-free. One evening some of the group from Minneapolis blind bowlers went to a show at grand ole opry house in Nashville. The escalator was broken, I had to walk up many steps, then got upstairs and had to go up again for many more steps, and then finally I walked down some steps to our seats.  I thanked the Lord that my knee had no pain at all even though I walked up many steps.  I would not have been able to do that before May 2nd. Yes, I walked up slowly but I kept believing the Lord that I would not feel any pain while doing it. God answered my prayers. Smile! PTL!

Dorothy Callies – Reading their testimonies lead me to sing this song: “This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.” It was written by Fanny Jane Crosby, who was blind. She wrote thousands of songs.
