Father, thank You for Your ongoing presence in our lives through Your word and Holy Spirit. We trust You and exalt You on high. We are to come to You boldly and with confidence in our time of need. As we ask according to Your will which shows that You want all of Your children healthy, strong and well. I pray for Your healing touch to Monika and Jeanne right now. Let Your word come and heal their bones completely. Give full mobility to both sisters. Thank You Jesus. In Your mighty name, Jesus, dissolve the blood clot in Monika's body and that she is free of it. I ask You to fill Jeanne with Your Spirit and show her how to keep Your peace and joy in the midst of recovery. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus.

Prayer Request for Wayne and Continue to pray for Barb Lloyd:

Barb Lloyd is still in need of prayer, but she is better than before. Thank you all for praying! I talked to her yesterday and she said "please" ask the prayer warriors to keep praying she may need another back surgery, and she needs to be healed by Jesus, In connection; Barb's son Wayne needed his hand amputated, but when they did more tests, a try of new medicine caused the blood flowing started working and now PRAISE GOD he will not need HIS HAND TO BE CUT OFF. PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD! Please pray for Barb not to need Back surgery and for the terrible pain to be gone. Pray for Wayne's arm and shoulder to be healed. completely.  Report from Hedy Miller.

Prayer Request for Dallas Bennewitz of Rockford, IL:

Dallas is 82 years old and he has pinch nerves in his right neck and arthritis and is very painful. The doctor gave him generic pain pill because the insurance refused to pay for brand pain pill that would have really help. Dallas was offer neck surgery, but he heard there’s a risk. His wife checked with friends and learn that doctor don’t tell you everything. One friend had neck surgery for pinch nerve and was not able to turn her head. She was mad that doctor did not tell her that. Learning about this, they need wisdom and checking with second opinion from another doctor. What Dallas need is a miracle of healing and he is only 82 years old, but loves God so much. Report from Dorothy Callies.

Prayer Request for Tony Callies and Dorothy, too!

Tony Callies has problem with memory because of taking the Pravastatin medicine when I asked his heart doctor about this. Took off that medicine for a week and it helps some, but had to go back to this medicine to prevent any serious problem. So Tony takes Mind Works Shaklee supplement with a hope that it will keep from losing too much memory. Otherwise, he is fine in doing everything himself. He even drive the car just fine. The family doctor said if he can do everything, then it is not to worry about. Just need help with remembering with appointments or plan to do. As for me, Dorothy, I will have surgery in March for fistula anus. Doctor said it is only 60 percent chance of healing or being fixed. It means that 60% of people were successful while 40% were not. Ohhh, I told him then I would turn to prayer. Doctor agreed that it would be helpful. This is embarrassing, but to understand what I have been going through, I have to use gauze and cloth tape for tiny hole to absorb the pus and blood and change it every two to four hours. It is next to anus so bowels are fine and normal. It is not painful. I just sit comfortably with gauze and tape. But I have to make sure, it is changed often. The doctor checked and said it looks good. Sigh!!!! I really need healing because it has been going on a long time.

#05 Jan 28 Prayer Requests for 2 Ladies fell on Ice

Psalm 23:1-3a. NIRV, “The Lord is my shepherd. He gives me everything I need. He lets me lie down in the fields of green grass. He leads me beside quiet waters. He gives me new strength.”

Prayer Requests for both ladies who fell down on ice.

Monika Couch: She slipped on black ice (unseen) as she left the Downers Grove Library on Jan. 3rd.  As she fell, her right foot went under her and her weight came down on the foot.  It broke the small bone in her leg (Tibia or Fibula) near the ankle.  That is over 3 weeks ago.

Her requests are two.  That the broken bone might quickly heal and that the blood clot that was discovered a week later would dissolve without moving into the areas of the heart, lungs, or brain.  If it reaches these sensitive areas, it can cause death.  She is being treated for both of these problems by two different doctors. 

Thursday, we go to see the Orthopedic Doctor (bone doctor) and he will check to see how the break is healing.  (Monika hopes that he will allow her walk without the "Boot".)  The Boot is a replacement for a cast. The cast can not be removed until healed, but the boot allows removal for showers, and at night.  The normal time for healing is 4-6 weeks.  Four weeks would be quick and 6 weeks would be slower.  This Saturday (1/31)  will be 4 weeks. Lloyd Couch

1/27/15 Jeanne Reis: Thank you for the devotion. Please pray for me as my right arm is starting to heal up slowly. On Dec. 1st, I fell down on the ice and my right arm broke in two places - elbow and shoulder I was sent to the ER for the X-Ray exam. 

On Dec. 9th, I went to the hospital with my daughter to prepare for the surgery room and the doctors were working on my arm for 7 hours. No cast at all, just the wrapping arm and put it in the slinger to hold my right arm until I saw Doctor on Dec. 19th. Then the nurse came in to remove 61 staples off my right arm. 

On Jan. 8th, we went to Hope Orthopedic for my therapy on my hand first, then later on the therapist working on my elbow after few weeks later. Tomorrow (Jan 28) we (Julie and I) go together to the therapy to exercise more on my right arm.

My elbow is smashed and had to remove the pieces of bone and made bone paste to cover the damage bone and put two plates with 20 screws.  My shoulder was clean cut so less mess than my elbow (one plate with 12 screws) in my right shoulder. So far, I am still struggled with the limit movement, but keep my spirit up. 😀 Jeanne

He is the one who tries to take away your health, finance and spiritual growth. He tries to kill you physically and spiritually. he tries to destroy your hope in God; destroy your reputation as a Christian, and things you owns. [John 10:10b] "...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Yes, Jesus is your REFUGE and your PROTECTION against Satan who hates you and wants to hurt or kill you.
 
Tony and Dorothy's intercessory prayer for you and from all prayer requests since March 2014: 
Oh, dear Heavenly Father, help us to be strong in the Lord and in your great power. We put on the armor of God so that we can fight against the devil's evil tricks. We know that our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world's darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world. 

That is why we need You, God as our full armor. Then on the day of evil we will be able to stand strong. And when we have finished the whole fight, we will still be standing. Help us to stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around our waist and the protection of right living on our chest. On our feet we wear the Good News of peace to help us stand strong. 

And also we use the shield of faith which we can stop all the burning arrows of the Evil One. We accept God's salvation as our helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Help us to pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything we need. 

Help us to always be ready and never give up. Help us to always pray for all God's people, especially our Deaf people in U.S.A. and in other countries of the world. Thank You Holy Spirit for interceding for us. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen. [Ref: Ephesians 6:10-18 New Century Version]

Shelly: Let's pray for Brenda and Mary.

For Brenda: Father, You love taking care of birds that You have created in the beginning. You have reminded us again in Scriptures that we are worth more than a sparrow and that You care for us deeply. Every time Brenda sees a bird, let her be reminded of Your love. I pray for Brenda who is Your child to cast her care to You, leave it there with You, not to take it back to herself again, and trust You completely to meet her needs. Let Your peace be strong in Brenda right now. Renew her mind that You love her deeply and are her Provider. Thank You that You see Brenda and are moving to provide her the right job.  Thank You that Brenda is on the mend. She is free of bronchitis and cough, in Jesus' mighty name. Thank You Jesus. (Please have Brenda take probiotics after antibiotics are done, so that her intestines have good bacteria working again - plain whole yoghurt has plenty of probiotics which she can sweeten with raw / unpasteurized honey or she can buy living probiotics pills at the health food store and take them with healthy food - blessings)

For Mary: Father, Thank You for Your ongoing life and power in Your Word. Every time Mary reads and meditates Your word, show her how much she is loved. Gently remind Mary that resting at Your feet is a blessed time that counts for all eternity. I ask You to do a new thing in her, removing old thoughts of past surgery experiences to Your higher thoughts of healing, life and power. Let her receive complete healing to her left foot so that she can walk independently as a healed person. Thank You for Your great mercy and healing flowing to Mary right now. In Jesus' loving name I believe and pray, amen and amen.

Father, I am joining all now praying for Barb. Thank You that You are still on the throne and will be returning soon. Thank You also for conquering the evil one by crushing his head. 

I pray for the outpouring of Your wisdom to the doctors now to identify the problem correctly and treat it completely. Let the doctors move quickly with excellent results.

I pray for Your peace to reign powerfully in Barb letting her know she can trust You right now. Give her the vision of healing and help her to see herself healed in Christ. 

Thank You for hearing this prayer and bringing Your words to pass in Barb's life.

In Jesus' name that is above all names. Boil-like / skin irritation, get out of Barb's body now. Praise Jesus for His healing name that is hers. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus.

1/16/15 Hedy Miller for Barb Lloyd, her friend: I want to give you an update on Barb, She is still in a lot of pain from the boil on her stomach but now it is not the size of an half a dollar. Now it is about 6 inches across.The doctors have not yet been able to identify it. She has to drive about 30 miles per day to have the area repacked with the gauze and new medicine. She is so sick from the pain that she can't eat. [PRAYER  WARRIORS TO PLEASE PRAY FOR HER, TOO.  So I am asking you all to pray for her too.] Thank you and God Bless you. Love and prayers, Hedy

Dorothy Callies: Tuesday noon on Dec. 23, I became very sick with bad colds in my lungs. It left me very weak for several days. I coughed badly. By Friday noon, I got angry and I pound my right hand on the big chair and said to myself and to demons, “there’s no way that me being older takes 3 to 4 weeks to get well?” This was quoted by Doctor to my deaf friend who were sick for 3 weeks with colds and coughs. “God, I am not going to accept that. Your Word promised strength and healing. I claimed it in Jesus’ name!” Saturday morning, I received strength and was able to work at Taco Bell with enough strength to last 3 hours. Then came home to rest a lot. Sunday morning, I helped Tony with master of ceremony. Sunday afternoon, I became weak, but felt good and nap as well. During the week, I struggled with weakness and pray for strength day by day. Prayer Request: I need your prayers for strength and to fight the colds in my lungs. Praise Report: I was surprised that I was able to do the devotion, “Sad and Tired.” I couldn’t figure out those strange feelings until I realized God needs our intercession. So I hope its okay to share some of your comments here.

Father, thank You that we are beginning a new year.  We are blessed to know that You are with us always. We have Your word to read, meditate and claim for our own needs. Thank You for Dorothy seeing the truth about healing and taking Your word which strengthens her and heals her completely. Thank You Jesus.

By the authority of Jesus that was given to me through His Word, I command the colds to leave Dorothy's lungs, Len's lungs and Christine's lungs. Get out of their lungs now. You have no right to torment the children of God. Now, Dorothy, Len and Christine resist you. Thank You Jesus for their lungs being free from colds, coughing and pains. Pour healing into their lungs, restoring health to every cell. Raise their immunity system higher to fight off the colds effectively. Thank You Jesus.

Prayer request: Both Len and I. Have very bad cold since December 26 up to now, hacking cough and difficult breathing. Thank You Lord for bringing Your Healing flow upon others as well. Christine Mitchell

Diane Musil Prayer Request for Depressed People from Dec. 26^th thru Jan. 25^th:

Greetings Dorothy! Very good devotional, power and hit real life to most. This devotional should be share to the lost, too! One thing, I thought I heard from last year or few years agao that “Jan. 25^th” one month after Christmas Day is the highest day people kill themselves due to no hope of Christmas and it is also the highest depression too. It makes sense cuz in Jan still some left over or left little gathering of the New Year or families come back from vacation trip so by Jan. 25^th it hit them, no more feelings left. More depression that leads to want to kill themselves. That is what I understood. But true on Dec. 26, Christmas is over, but I believe that each day takes time to become more depressed and become weary. Thank you for sharing with us. J Diane Musil

Betty Miller of Ottawa, CAN: Let you know that my colonoscopy results that the Doctor found out it was diverticular disease that causing the pains for so long.  Hope to see my family doctor soon as I understand the holidays was closed.   I will find out more information later.   That is the main now I know what is the causing the pain.  Means I cannot eat nuts & any seeds. Father,  thank You for Betty's finding out the problem relating to her colon. I pray that she will understand the correct information about her condition. Meanwhile, show her that You Jesus is the Healer who is more than able to heal her completely, free of the disease today. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Praise Your Name! Karen Tidd: Yes that fit me perfect.  I'm always sad.  So much bad things happening to me.  Nothing is good.  Need job, and God to guide me where I need to be and be strong put my life with Jesus.  Pray my chronic pain go away.  Thank you for share the story. Karen

Martha Clements’ news and need prayers: Ah, Dorothy, it is so true, sad and tired for most people, but Bill and I had a quiet, peaceful day on Christmas then bam, my kids came over and really caused a chaos in our apartment, eh eh! They sure came in a whirlwind and left in a whirlwind, too. sigh, they were so full of energy, my girls. My son left so pitiful he got sick and upset stomach caused by the medicine I gave him because he hurt his back so badly. He writhed and moaned so i gave him my medicine but I warned him be careful with them, and sure enough, he got an upset stomach so he left early. My poor son, pitiful thing! But he was happy to see us. But my girls, 39 years old and 16 1/2 years old full of energy left to go home for school, one as a pupil and another as a teacher. My son was 41 years old, a good boy, but they all need Jesus Christ for salvation. Pray for them, they probably felt sad and tired once they get home, but not me or Bill. We enjoyed Christmas and it was a wonderful time to celebrate Christ's birth as our Savior is born to come and save us from our sins, praise God! Amen! God bless you!

Father, hear Martha's prayer for their children's need for Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. Move in a mighty way in their lives that can be explained supernaturally.  Remove the scales from their eyes and see the power of the Cross today. Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus!
